1. Final Manuscript: We are requesting a PDF version of your final manuscript named [YOUR-PAPER-NUMBER]_final.pdf, submitted online, no later than 5:00 p.m. EST, February 27, 2009. Here are style files for Latex and other formats. Please note: All manuscripts, short or long, are limited to no more than six pages. There will be no exceptions to this limit.

The IEEE Xplore PDF specifications are here.

You may use the IEEE document checker to confirm the correct formatting of your submissions:

Use conference ID: CISS 2009X
And follow these instructions.

2. An IEEE Copyright form. You can submit the form electronically (preferred) to IEEE here. The form can also be downloaded here and faxed to the Conference Office (FAX) 410-516-5566.

3. Notification of one author's regular registration (i.e. non-student) by February 27, 2009, in order for your paper to be included in the conference proceedings.

If you require additional information, please contact Barbara Sullivan at (410)516-7033, and please refer to your paper number in all correspondence to CISS '09.

Registration Policy
  • At least one author on each paper has paid a full (i.e., non-student) registration.
  • Even if all authors of a paper are students, at least one of them must pay the full non-student registration.
  • An author that has two papers does not need to pay two registration fees.

  • Note: Please understand that, even if you register for the conference and submit your final manuscript, if your paper is not presented at the Conference, it will not be included in the final proceedings submitted to IEEE.
